Elegant chest of drawers, made in the Louis XV style during the second half of the 20th century. This piece stands out for the finesse of its marquetry and the harmony of its curves. The curved structure, typical of Rococo taste, embraces a fluid and refined silhouette, highlighted by a play of veneers carefully arranged in symmetrical leaves. The yellow breccia marble top perfectly follows the line of the furniture, with a moulded edge in a beak shape. The front opens with three arched drawers, adorned with chiselled bronze: pierced handles, foliage-shaped keyholes, and delicately crafted corner drops. These fittings add brilliance and depth to the whole. The sides feature butterfly wing marquetry, and the piece rests on four curved legs, finished with finely chiselled bronze sabot. This chest of drawers combines quality craftsmanship, decorative refinement, and timeless charm. Period: 2nd half of the 20th century. In good condition after restoration in our cabinetmaking workshop. Varnished finish. 643V.
