Mirror Louis-Philippe, patinated pearl frame 41x47 cm

This ancient mercury mirror is surrounded by a louis-philippe frame painted in white and silver. This 19th century ice has been repainted, patinated, lacquered many times, but we see traces of an old gilding underneath... There are elements of painting in blue, white and red and a monogram, perhaps it testifies to a history around the liberation of alsace. The style is sober: a net of pearls surrounds the mirror. The ice is pricked in places. I report chips, gaps and scratches. It measures 41 X 47 cm.
