Magnificent and extremely rare series of 4 cocktail chairs published by Glenn of California around 1950. Model of the famous Swedish designer and architect Greta Magnusson, one of the only women to have made a name for herself across the Atlantic where she emigrated in 1940. Perfect synthesis between European minimalist style and Californian lifestyle, she will design and furnish many villas of stars in Palm Springs from her studio on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The structure of these chairs is in solid American walnut, right down to the screw covers, the seats entirely redone by an upholsterer for the sale, are in very light ecru bouclette fabric in the spirit of the time. Height at the back 76 cm, from the seat forward 45 cm, back 40 cm, width 46 cm, depth 51 cm. With these four chairs in perfect condition, you'll enjoy all the chic of Hollywood's golden age in your living room, surrounded by a beautiful coffee table. These exclusive pieces are unobtainable in France, or even Europe.
