Trojan glazed ceramic cellar rat candle holder Bulgaria

This beautiful candle holder with saucer and ring called "cellar rat", glazed ceramic mostly green but decorated with beautiful patterns (ecru, black, caramel and blue), typical of the ceramics of troyen, a region of the balkans (bulgaria today). Each artist had his own motif that served as a signature. This candle holder probably dates from the 50s to 70s. It is in good general condition, no crack, but has a shine on the edge of the saucer, not too visible because located mainly underside. It measures 12.5 cm in diameter at the level of the saucer, 5 cm of maximum diameter at the level of the barrel, and 9 cm in height, it weighs about 260 g.
