Rotating mahogany and brass library — G. Borgeaud, circa 1900

Rotating library in solid mahogany and brass from the G. Borgeaud house, founded in 1884. Four shelf columns that pivot on themselves, accessible from all angles without moving the piece. A brass knob allows for the rotation to be locked. The mechanism still works perfectly. The original castors still roll. The mahogany has taken on the dark and deep patina of wood that has aged in protection. Condition good: a few ornamental brass rods missing from the structure — they do not affect the sturdiness or functionality. Dimensions: L 45 × D 45 × H 111 cm
