Vintage Design. A very rare Kalmar Dornstab table lamp. A classic of early design, its elegance comes from the functionality of its design. The unique feature of the lampshade is its shape. The saber-shaped stem passes through the lampshade and emerges from the top. This construction allows for manual height adjustment. Pins are positioned at regular intervals along the top of the stem, from which the lampshade is suspended. Another distinctive feature is the base, forked into two branches that support the protruding stem. The cable passes through a hole in the base and above a brass grommet. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and patina.
