Clip-on small bedside lamp, Buchleseleuchte Germany 1950s

Workshop lamp or clip-on wall lamp made in germany in the mid-20th century. A minimalist lamp with an exposed bulb is a classic example of modernist industrial design, concise in form, with a switch in the housing and simple mounting. The bakelite is undamaged, the clamping mechanism works well and the lamp can be fixed in various places. The lamp gives a very nice illumination, black bakelite. The lamp is fully operational and operates on a single e14 bulb up to 25w, original installation for a european plug. The item is in very good original condition, with slight traces of use, mainly visible on the cable. Dimensions without bulb: Height 7 cm|depth 9 cm|width 8 cm.
