French Art Deco Table Lamp with Multicolored Spatter Glass Shade and Black

A striking French Art Deco table lamp dating from the 1920s, featuring a vibrant multicolored spatter glass shade mounted on an elegant black glass base. The lamp perfectly captures the exuberant decorative spirit of the Art Deco era, combining bold color with clean, architectural form. The handcrafted shade is executed in richly colored spatter glass, with lively flecks of red, blue, green, and orange suspended within a warm yellow ground. When illuminated, the glass emits a beautiful ambient glow, enhancing the depth and brilliance of the mottled decoration. Its softly domed silhouette provides a pleasing contrast to the sleek, sculptural black glass stem and base below. The glossy black glass base adds a refined geometric quality typical of French Art Deco lighting, while creating a dramatic visual counterpoint to the colorful shade. Compact in scale yet highly decorative, this lamp works beautifully on a bedside table, console, desk, or display cabinet. An eye-catching example of 1920s French decorative lighting that brings warmth, color, and period character to both traditional and contemporary interiors. Good vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. The lamp remains fully decorative and presents well.
