Icon of Scandinavian design, the 3207 chair by Arne Jacobsen, designed in 1955, is part of the most emblematic creations published by Fritz Hansen. Inspired by organic shapes, Jacobsen has created a timeless piece. This vintage edition from the 1970s features particularly sought-after characteristics, including the metal cover under the seat, which predates the plastic versions. The underside of the seat is stamped "FH Danmark". The moulded plywood shell made of black-stained ash, crafted in a single piece, offers a slight flex ensuring excellent seating comfort. It rests on a four-legged base made of chrome tubular steel. • Designer: Arne Jacobsen • Publisher: Fritz Hansen • Model: 3207 • Period: 1970s • Marking: Original stamp "FH Danmark" under the seat • Materials: Moulded plywood (black-stained ash), chrome steel Condition: Very good overall condition.
