Oak sideboard with glass doors

Antique 1950s sideboard in solid oak with its four large sliding glass doors. We love its format, quite long with a shallow depth. Its delicate details, with its baseboards, moldings, paneled doors topped with brass handles. The interior of the piece of furniture is composed of brass supports, typical of grocery stores or boutiques of the time, on which are fixed wooden shelves. Fully restored, this piece of furniture has been completely sanded, treated, lightly stained, then protected with a transparent matte varnish. Thus we can appreciate the grain and the so elegant color of the oak. The interior of the piece of furniture has been painted black, to contrast with the body of the piece of furniture. The shelves, for their part, have been kept in wood. Some defects and a patina may be visible in the wood, inherent to its age. One side on the "side" is entirely paneled, the other side is in simple wood, because the piece of furniture must have been "cut" in the past at this point.
