Maison Lecan presents this duo of modernist nesting tables from the 1950s, made of metal and black glass, in the spirit of Jacques Adnet's creations. The design is simple and successful: black glass tops encircled by metal, resting on X-shaped legs as fine as pencil strokes. At the intersection of the legs, a small brass flower adds an eye-catching detail. The painted metal has developed a beautiful patina, with golden reflections. The central flower is missing on one side of the large table. The glass shows fine usage scratches, discreet to the eye. At the end of a sofa, as a bedside table, or as an extra near an armchair, they slide under one another when not needed.
