Oil on Canvas "The Bell Tower" – Late 19th Century

This painting depicts a countryside scene with a stone chapel located on the right side of the image. The church has a pointed steeple with a weather vane at the top featuring a rooster. On the left, we see a lush landscape with hills and mountains in the background. The sky is partly cloudy but remains blue. In the foreground, a woman dressed in a traditional dress and a white headdress carries a large bundle of wood on her back while walking along a path. This rectangular painting is framed by an aged wooden frame and is signed at the bottom right. Unfortunately, the signature remains illegible. ******** Period: Late 19th century. Very good condition.
