Spectacular pair of corn-shaped vases, made of fairly hard glazed stoneware, with a widely turned base, tight and regular turning rings, and a speckled/crackled interior glaze. Naturalistic pieces fully decorated in high relief with intertwined oak branches and tendrils, veined leaves, and acorns. Superb palette of honey, chocolate brown, and ivory that highlights the modelling. Under the bases: handwritten workshop marks and incised (chevron) indicators confirming artisanal production by pair. Attribution not definitively established: either School of Langeais around 1900 or potter from Puisaye/Morvan around 1960/70. In very good condition, with no chips or cracks, micro-traces of use compatible with age. Matching pair – rare on the market. Height 24 cm, diameter at the neck 21 cm, diameter at the base 13 cm. Characterful pieces for a chic cottagecore interior or for collectors.
