Vintage French oil painting on board, bouquet of lilacs

Very beautiful vintage french oil painting on panel, representing a bouquet of lilacs in a vase. Mid 20th century. This lovely painting seems like be signed, but unluckily, there is a scratch on top of what I think is the signature, so I can't tell for sure if it´s signed or not. White lilacs represented youthful innocence and were often used in memorial arrangements for the young. Sending lilacs to a former lover carried the implicit question: “Do you still love me?”, so do you think this painting could be useful for sending a secret message. Not sure about that, but for sure it´s a beautiful example of art wall. The painting is in very good condition., but the frame needs some restauration, as you can appreciate in the photos. With frame it measures 38.5 cm high, 34 cm wide and 6 cm wide. Just the art work measures 24 cm high and 19.5 cm wide.
