Art Deco vase in sgraffito decorated with a floral motif, by Josef Ekberg for Gustavsberg. Sgraffito is a technique combining two layers into a pattern, with the second layer scratched away to reveal a light blue background with a beautiful design on top. Signed at the base with Gustavsberg Josef Ekberg Gustavsberg, 1922. Good vintage condition, with a hairline crack at the bottom on one side. Dimensions: Height 25 cm, Diameter 30 cm.
