Desvres décor Rouen vase suspended

Ancient large vase to hang, triangular in shape, in enamelled desvres earthenware painted by hand with a typical polychrome rouen décor with a couple of folk dancers in very good condition. No cracks or sparkles. Marked on the back "la bourboule les bains 2732b xviii". This vase is still used to put the blessed boxwood, on palm sunday, by the parish priest each year, symbolically associated with immortality. Indeed, bringing back a blessed twig on the day of the procession marks faith in the resurrection of christ who crossed the passion. It can also accommodate a bouquet of dried or undried flowers.
