Large bevelled floor mirror - Restored carved solid wood frame Art Deco

Who will fall under the charm of this large and very elegant mirror from the early last century? It stands out with a large bevelled glass, framed by a superb decoration of flowers and graphic foliage sculpted in raw solid wood, a cherry wood with a soft warm hue. This beautiful object has undergone careful restoration in the workshop: a gentle wash to remove its dark wax layer while leaving a slight golden patina, as well as some wood repairs. The glass shows some signs of age, such as slight pitting or scratches (top of the glass in the last photos, but it can be reversed if fixed to the wall) — imperfections that are ultimately discreet, acceptable given its age, and do not detract from the reflection. We love the warmth of its veined wood and its very original shape. An old wardrobe door, the former keyhole has been discreetly filled with a resin that blends with the wood's hue. Small wood repairs are also visible and contribute to its authentic character.
