HG Möbler Sideboard Set | Teak | 1960s/70s We are offering a two-piece vintage sideboard set dating from the 1960s/70s, probably manufactured by the Danish company HG Möbler. Both pieces are made of teak and stand on matching tapered legs. They can be placed side by side to create one long sideboard. As each piece is freestanding and has its own legs, they can also be used separately as two smaller storage units. The left-hand cabinet features a hinged top, underneath which is a compartment with removable inserts fitted with recessed handles, ideal for storing vinyl records, magazines or similar items. Below this are two spacious compartments behind double doors with the characteristic recessed round handles. The right-hand cabinet features a drawer, a drop-down compartment and another compartment behind a door with a recessed round handle. Both cabinets have been fitted with new legs and are in good vintage condition, well preserved, with signs of wear consistent with their age. Due to exposure to light over the years, slight variations in colour are visible on the surfaces, which is common for teak furniture of this age. The left-hand cabinet has a veneer repair on the right-hand side. The condition of the cabinets is clearly visible in the photographs.
