Large bevelled and engraved Venetian Art Deco mirror – Amber & silver tinted glass (110 × 80 cm) Superb and elegant Art Deco wall mirror (circa 1930-1940) in the pure Venetian spirit. This piece stands out for its generous proportions and refined play of contrasts: • A large central silvered bevelled glass with a scalloped and festooned top. • An upper and side frame with recesses made of bevelled glass in golden/peach-amber tint, delicately engraved with stylised floral and vegetal motifs, featuring cut glass rosettes. • Original solid wood back structure and base, equipped with its period iron suspension wire. Can be hung on the wall or elegantly placed on a chest of drawers, console, or fireplace. General condition: In beautiful condition for its age. The silvering is clear and bright, with a few very light traces indicating its authenticity and history (without altering its charm or reflection).
