We are delighted to offer this refurbished director's chair dating from around 1900, Edwardian era, with a heritage brown leather seat. This chair is truly exquisite, featuring a tiger oak structure, which means the wood has been cut on the bias to give it that beautiful striped patina. The leather covering of the seat is heritage leather with a wonderful patina. The chair has been restored with a deep clean, hand waxing, and manual polishing from top to bottom. Dimensions: Height: 73.5 cm, seat height: 44 cm, width: 56.5 cm, depth: 50 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our warehouses in Pulborough. Condition: Please refer to the very detailed photos that are an integral part of the description regarding the condition. Please note that vintage and original items such as leather seats will always exhibit a natural patina in the form of creases and wear. We recommend annual waxing to prevent any loss of moisture. Additionally, hand-dyed leather is not recommended for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as it may dry out and discolour.
