Wooden and metal military case, circa 1960

Malle of military equipment, wood and metal, stamped dma 20f.00 (military delegation for armament), circa 1960. To soften and illuminate its too dark patina, the cleaned exterior received a layer of white ceruse wax and then glossy. Wrought iron frames and closure, dma engraved on the latch. Note slight shift at the rear hinges, this does not hinder the opening but creates a difference of spread from one hinge to another (see photos). Good state of use.
