Modern mid-century cocoon wall light by Friedel Wauer for Goldkant Leuchten, 1960s.

Vintage wall lamp designed in Mid-Century Modern Cocoon style, made by the German manufacturer Goldkant, designed by Friedel Wauer in the 1960s. The lamp features a simple spindle shape, cut in half, mounted directly to the wall. The light shines upwards and downwards through openings. The entire body of the lamp glows through the translucent Cocoon material. The lamp has a pull switch. Goldkant was known for its various Cocoon lamp designs. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and a patina.
