Transparent blown glass carafe

There is something soothing about the perfect roundness of a demijohn. This one, made of transparent blown glass with slightly bluish reflections, has that generous belly and narrow neck that have charmed cellars and barns of yesteryear. Placed on a piece of furniture, it captures light and gently diffuses it around. Slip in a few stems of dried flowers like in our photo, branches of eucalyptus, or simply leave it bare to play with volumes and transparency.
