Green marble and carved gilded wood coffee table – Louis XV style

This table is a blend of nobility and originality and was purchased in a Parisian boutique, as a set with two matching armchairs and a sofa in the same style. It consists of two separate elements: a green veined marble top and a carved giltwood base. The top rests on the structure, which facilitates transport and handling. The marble is in good general condition but has visible marked grain, while the giltwood base shows signs of wear related to time, with some gilding cracks, on the legs. These marks do not detract from its stability or elegance and even reinforce its authenticity and vintage charm.
