Portrait of a young Flemish girl, dating from the early 20th century, on panel. Painted with a fine brush and varnished. Refined technique, striving for realism in every detail. Portrait in profile, long hair loose. A fleeting gaze, reminiscent of the Symbolists, leaving room for reverie and the interpretation of emotion. Blurred background in shades of gray. Unsigned. In good condition, with a slight crack in the lower left corner, outside the portrait area, on the gray background. Gilt and molded plaster frame, in the classical style.
