Pair of ashtrays V.N.C. "Opaline from Venice" – Murano, Italy, 1970s. Elegant pair of small turquoise blue opaline ashtrays, encircled with a gilded metal frame. Italian manufacture by the house Vincenzo Nason & Cie (V.N.C.) based in Murano, with original "Opaline from Venice" stickers preserved. Beautiful luminous effect characteristic of Venetian opaline productions from the second half of the 20th century. Condition: signs of use and slight wear to the gilding consistent with age. A crack is present inside one ashtray; it remains invisible from the outside and does not affect the overall presentation. Diameter: 5.8 cm. A charming pair of small decorative objects of Italian taste, witnesses to the glass production of Murano in the 1970s.
