Exceptional craftsmanship! Sculptural oak dining chairs, designed by Dries Van den Berghe for van den Berghe-Pauvers, Ghent, Belgium in 1985. The curved backrest functions as a third leg. Original burgundy leather seats. The chairs are in their original condition, showing patina and signs of use. On one chair (see the last 2 photos), there is a small piece of wood missing at the bottom and top of the backrest.
