In this announcement, you will find a painting created in the style of Francesco Guardi. The painting depicts the Dogana da Mar, located at Punta della Dogana - the triangular area of Venice, Italy, where the Grand Canal meets the Giudecca Canal, along with its collection of buildings: Santa Maria della Salute (from which the name Punta della Salute derives), the Patriarchal Seminary of Venice, and Dogana da Mar at the tip of the triangle. The painting belongs to the Venetian school, notable at the end of the 18th century. The artist used classic red pigment as a base for the painting, primarily used in the 18th century and abandoned in the early 19th century. The painting had minor damages, which have been restored by a museum conservator. The painting comes with its frame, which is not in perfect condition.
