For sale: Stigram table lamp, designed by French designer Jean Pierre Vitrac and produced by the French company Verre Lumière, circa 1980. Publisher's label present under the base. The Stigram perfectly illustrates his sculptural and functional approach: a black lacquered aluminium cast base, solid and stable, topped with a circular lampshade made of two-colour moulded methacrylate in white and red, showcasing striking formal lightness. The contrast between the density of the black metal and the plastic transparency of the lampshade is typical of the high-tech and post-modern aesthetic that characterises the best of French design from the 1980s. Very good overall condition, functional equipment, intact lampshade, minimal signs of wear inherent to the age of the piece. Features: Model: Stigram.
