Theatre armchair - Art Deco cinema - Manufacture Fischel

Cinema / theater armchair 30s of the fischel manufacture: the cast iron base has a pretty old gold hue and bears, on the 4 internal / external sides, the brand of the fischel manufacture. The armrests with art deco lines are made of mahogany stained wood as well as the dressing of the back / under the seat. It has retained its original velvet-edgedge trim; the seat and backrest remain very comfortable despite their age. The folding seat has the advantage of stalling in the open position. Although stable, it is recommended to fix it on the floor or on a wooden flat support (holes in the 4 feet for the passage of screws). It is offered "in its juice" given its charm as it stands. Materials: cast iron (base), wood, velvet, metal (screws) Dimensions (in open position): l58 X l68 X h82cm. Condition: proposed "in its juice", good general condition for its age, stripes of use on the wooden parts, clean but worn fabric (weft visible in places - see detail photos), a hole in the fabric of the seat on the left side (discreet because little / not visible in open / closed position). Fischel manufacture: founded in czechoslovakia in 1871 (until 1938) and specialized in the quality production of chairs and armchairs (especially in curved wood in the thonet style). The french factory was located in alsace in wissembourg and the brand had several commercial points in paris, bordeaux, nantes, lille, marseille and toulouse.
