Renovated Art Deco chest of drawers
This chest of drawers dates from the 1930s-40s. It is indeed characteristic of the transitional period between late Art Deco and mid-20th century modernism. You can see the softened and rounded edges, the round brass knobs, and the so-called 'moustache' legs. It was sourced in the Paris region, thoroughly cleaned and sanded, then protected with care oil. Despite the care taken in its renovation, the top, too damaged, had to be painted. It is in the colour R406 l'Alchimiste by Ressource Paints, a current gilded shade that echoes the golden knobs and adds a pop of colour. Its drawer fronts are made of wood veneer. This piece of late Art Deco style is quite rare and exclusive. You will appreciate its elegance, softness, and personality. It will bring authenticity, character, and a lovely retro chic touch to your interior.
