French work, contemporary creation. H 207 X W 100 X D 30 cm. Brushed perforated stainless steel. Very good condition. Two panels of brushed stainless steel, alternately perforated with rounded rectangles and circles. The cut is clean, the design consistent from one edge to the other. Placed on the floor, either alone or facing each other, they serve as a partition without closing off and as a bookshelf without a casing. The screen belongs to the common repertoire of French architecture from the fifties and sixties, where perforated sheet metal enters the domestic vocabulary: Mathieu Matégot named his version Rigitulle in 1952. With a dual function as a partition and bookshelf, this screen can be placed alone or opposite each other. Very good condition.
