This chandelier from 2006 is a famous piece by the Iranian designer Ali Siahvoshi, published at the time by Lumen Center Italia. It is a minimalist and industrial reinterpretation of the classic Louis XV style chandelier with pendants, using a laser-cut technique on aluminium sheets. The chandelier is "flat" or more precisely made up of interlocking 2D profiles that recreate the silhouette of a traditional three-dimensional chandelier.
