Folding chair Plia Canè by Giancarlo Piretti

Very beautiful folding chair Plia Canè designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli, emblematic of Italian design from the 1960s/70s. This version with a seat and backrest in natural caning is particularly elegant. It combines a chrome steel frame with wooden surrounds and the famous folding system of the Plia chair. The chair is in very good general condition for its age. The caning is well preserved and shows some slight signs of use visible in the photos. The chrome structure also has some marks related to its age, but overall it remains very aesthetic. An ideal piece for vintage, Mid-Century, or contemporary decor, just as beautiful used as an occasional chair as it is simply displayed.
