Large designer reception desk

This superb desk really has it all! A free-form design that harmoniously combines a curved top with a highly graphic base. The materials used offer a pleasing contrast between the natural wood veneer, reminiscent of rosewood, and a covering of brushed gold aluminium sheets. It features a nice storage space under the top, a small tray above a pillar-style leg, and a second tray embedded in the top. An atypical piece from the 80s that we love, it can be envisioned as a reception desk, a spacious telecommuting office, or even as a room divider, or why not, as an exceptionally original table! In good condition, note a small crack in the middle of the top, a minor fissure on the aluminium inside one of the pillars, and the presence of wood filler around the edges, all of which are not very noticeable (see photos).
