Dimensions: approx. 86 × 43 × 119 cm (width × depth × height) Original display cabinet from the B series, designed by Dieter Waeckerlin for Behr in Germany in the late 1950s. This iconic collection represents one of the peaks of post-war German design, combining Swiss modernism with exceptional cabinet-making quality. With its minimalist lines, fully glazed corners, and elegant lightness, this display cabinet is considered one of the most beautiful creations of Mid-Century design. The teak veneered case is equipped with two sliding glass doors behind which are three glass shelves intended for displaying books, ceramics, art objects, or collections. The fully glazed front corners are the signature of the model, providing a remarkable sense of transparency and lightness. The entire piece rests on a slender base made of black lacquered steel. Condition: Surface carefully restored. Excellent vintage condition with only a few very light scratches and discreet signs of use on the steel base and teak veneer. These marks remain very subtle and do not detract from the quality or exceptional elegance of this rare display cabinet.
