Designed to combine a mirror, storage compartment and shelf within a single piece, this teak wall mirror with integrated storage embodies one of the fundamental principles of Scandinavian design in the 1960s: bringing together multiple functions in an object with clean lines and a compact footprint. The teak structure is defined by gently tapered sides that lighten its appearance and draw the eye towards the upper door. Here, the mirror is recessed within an inner teak frame, set back from the surface of the door and shaped with an inward-sloping profile. This three-dimensional detail adds depth to the front and creates a subtle interplay of light and shadow. The door opens upwards on its original hinges to reveal a practical storage compartment, while the two shelves below complete the composition.
