Teak Sideboard, Denmark 1960s/1970s, Mid-C Modern, Vintage

This beautiful sideboard was manufactured in Denmark in the 1960s/1970s. It consists of a chest finished in teak veneer with a beautifully selected flander grain, set on elegant solid legs. The chest's contoured sides resemble a piano. Danish design is characterized by elegant, clean lines, and the attractive door and drawer handles, as well as the chest's edging, are also crafted from solid teak. Behind the outer doors are shelves that can be easily removed if necessary. The middle section houses the "icing on the cake": a bar section adorned with a decorative mirror and four drawers upholstered in an elegant green fabric. Additionally, the bottom of the dresser features three spacious drawers, the outermost ones pull out and the middle one opens like a bar. The dresser has undergone a full renovation, including cleaning the old coatings and resealing them with several coats of a hard, stain- and water-resistant oil-wax. The doors and drawers operate smoothly and easily. The piece is solid, fully functional, very spacious, and ready to be placed in your apartment, studio, or workspace.
