Pair of Scandinavian table lamps designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, 1960.

Scandinavian minimalism at its peak, with this pair of table lamps, the work of the great and rare designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1960s. Original version from the Swedish manufacturer Ab-Markaryd (model B44). Despite a ceramic appearance, the legs of these lamps are made of solid beech turned from a single piece. The surface effect is achieved by a satiny off-white lacquer, strictly original, highlighted by a brass base. Sobriety and harmony of shapes and colors, nobility of materials, these designer pieces combine elegance and character, and are just as comfortable on a sideboard as at the end of a sofa or at the bedside tables! Very good condition, slight crazing of the lacquer on one of the legs, recent lampshades without defects. Electrical wiring redone on original elements (E27 sockets and switches).
