A very rare pair of Brutalist wall sconces designed by Marcello Fantoni in the 1960s. The hand-hammered metal structure features a play of irregular stems with a powerful relief, typical of the Brutalist aesthetic. The geometrically decorated molded glass diffusers diffuse a warm, vibrant light that contrasts with the roughness of the metal. DIMENSIONS: H: 35cm. W: 34cm. Sculptural pieces, at the crossroads between art and design, these sconces perfectly embody Fantoni's expressive language and research into materials. They bring a strong, architectural presence to any interior.
