Description. Beautiful vintage decorative set consisting of two pieces made of handcrafted blown glass in a deep emerald green and translucent colour. This duo reflects the organic European glass art of the mid-20th century (Biot / Empoli style). These pieces capture light with depth, creating vibrant emerald reflections in any interior. Aesthetic details and dimensions: Vase: Dimensions: 36.5 cm (H) X 21 cm (D). Aesthetic: Its slender silhouette starts from a bulbous base, stretching into a fine neck before opening into an elegantly undulating and scalloped corolla. The body is adorned with fine vertical ribs that energise its shape and enhance its luminous transparency. Textured carafe: Dimensions: 33 cm (H) X 16 cm (D). Aesthetic: A piece with a strong presence, characterised by a richly textured surface. The thick body features a regular raised honeycomb pattern that plays wonderfully with light. It rests on a marked foot, highlighting its artisanal and robust appearance. Condition: In beautiful vintage condition overall. Both pieces bear the authentic marks of handmade work: slight air bubbles trapped in the material, variations in thickness, and surface imperfections that make each piece unique. The base of the carafe has a marked pontil scar (in the shape of an "X"), a testament to the manual detachment of the glassblower's rod during creation. Light signs of usual use are present on the bases.
