The warm presence of teak complements the understated design of this Swedish chest of drawers from the 1960s, whose character emerges above all through the rhythm of its front. The shaped oval handles, slightly recessed into the wood, are repeated across the four spacious drawers, while the locks aligned along the central axis introduce a second, finer graphic sequence. Rounded front corners soften the structure, allowing the natural grain of the teak to animate the surfaces. The construction retains the restraint typical of Scandinavian design of the period, with lighter wood drawer interiors and four tapered legs that give the piece a more slender profile without drawing attention away from the front.
