Oil on panel depicting a view of Cannes, in the La Bocca area, with the Estérel massif in the background. The composition features a large pine tree overlooking the sea, agaves in the foreground, a few sailboats, and the characteristic reliefs of the Côte d’Azur. The work is signed at the bottom right "Tom Evans 09 – Cannes" and dated 1909. On the back, an old handwritten inscription reads "Cannes – Environs de La Bocca, " which allows for precise identification of the depicted location. The painting is presented in its old gilded frame with moulded decoration, showing a beautiful patina of time. Dimensions. Frame: 42 × 33.5 cm. Depth: 4.5 cm. Painted panel: 33 × 23.5 cm. Condition.
