Its cracked turquoise base, characteristic of Victorian Orientalism, is adorned with a refined decoration: a large central medallion with a black and gold border reveals the interior of a Victorian-style crystal palace, surrounded by small botanical medallions and a gilded rococo cartouche. Delicate flowering branches in pink, blue, and red animate the whole with lightness. The base and neck are highlighted by wide black friezes with gilded floral decorations and an elegant pink band. On the reverse, a red-brown manufacturer’s mark — a crowned shield with the monogram 'SM', framed by laurel and dated 1895 — attests to its origin. Height 46 cm, diameter 21 cm.
