Magnificent lot of antique porcelain tableware from Silesia, iconic "China Blau" pattern from the famous Tuppack Tiefenfurt factory. This Chinoiserie-style decor, very fashionable in the early 20th century, depicts scenes of oriental gardens, pagodas, and flowers, in an elegant deep blue. Fine porcelain with a "fluted" body (wave reliefs) and a delicate golden border (gold line) on the handles and edges. Origin: Tiefenfurt, Silesia (now Poland), period 1920-1940. In very good vintage condition. The gilding is still well-preserved (slight signs of use on the handles that attest to its authenticity). No major cracks or chips. Perfect for an elegant table, a retro tea-time, or to complete an incomplete "China Blau" set.
