Brutalist bedside tables / sculpted oak / stars / bohemian decor

Very pretty pair of vintage brutalist style bedside tables, very original!! They are made of solid carved oak (very heavy). The structure is oak except for the sides which are veneered, as well as the tops (Versailles-style marquetry, with a few small barely visible缺缺, see photos above). Everything has been sanded and then patinated with a weathered white. Sturdy large feet. Inside, there is a niche that allows for plenty of storage. The door is carved (one has more details than the other) and the white mass contrasts well with the raw varnished top. The knobs have been changed to linen balls to maintain an authentic natural style (handmade star-shaped pine attached to a linen cord adds a handcrafted touch and will accompany you among the stars during your dreams…). These lovely pieces of furniture can be used in a bedroom or living room as side tables / guéridons. For a decor that is: Bohemian. Ethnic (inspired by Eastern or Indian styles). Country house.
