Sublime antique mirror from the 19th century / early 20th century in the Louis-Philippe style, with a pronounced romantic and bucolic charm. Superb carved frame in wood and patinated white / ivory stucco, adorned with delicate shell motifs (scallop shells) and vegetal scrolls. The inner contour is highlighted by a lovely frieze of beaded orles. Original mirror with marked and authentic wear of the silvering. This heavily patinated aspect bears witness to its great age and gives it all its poetry and period soul.
