Metal chair year, 60s, "Metalcraft"

Ordered in 1962 in the united states. Metal and wood chair made by metalcraft in california. It was very damaged, metal oxidation, peeled paint, varnish of worn armrests and wood spin holes. For the metal: I stripped it, sanded it, switched from rustol to stop oxidation and switched to paint bomb for matte black metal. For the wood: I stripped it, sanded it, switched to xylophene in depth, plugged the holes and passed a slight shot of wood varnish to preserve the natural wood. The cushions are not original but 70s. Can you change them, cover them or leave them. It's comfortable. It was part of a set (see my other ads).
