Very beautiful antique double bed in Louis XV style, made of wood and walnut veneer.

A particularly elegant and decorative model, characterised by an imposing headboard with curved lines, topped with a superb openwork pediment sculpted with leaf motifs and scrolls. The headboard features remarkable marquetry work in a frieze pattern, arranged in geometric designs and highlighted by the various natural shades of the wood. The foot of the bed, also curved, echoes the mouldings of the headboard to create a particularly harmonious ensemble. The posts and feet are finely carved with plant motifs and scrolls, showcasing beautiful craftsmanship visible in the details. Sleeping area: 130 × 190 cm. The bed is complete, dismountable, and currently dismantled and stored, which facilitates transport. It will be sold without a bed base or mattress. In very good overall condition considering its age, with a lovely patina on the wood and a few discreet signs of wear that contribute to its authenticity.
