Voltaire armchair from the 19th century, purple velvet

Voltaire armchair, reupholstered and completely refurbished by me, using traditional upholstery: springs, vegetable hair, animal hair — no foam, no glue. The wooden frame has been revised, and the armchair is ready for daily use. The fabric is a soft, deep purple velvet that highlights the lines of the armchair. With a seat height of 40 cm from the ground, a high backrest, and padded armrests, it is a true reading chair, comfortable for long hours, and adds a lot of character to both a living room and a bedroom.
